Amy has more than two decades of experience in non-profit association operations, board governance, community and member relations, economic development, strategic communications and event planning.
For the past twenty years, Amy has focused on non-profit management for a professional association having served most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), where she helped shape the organization's programs and services, launched new initiatives, and managed many aspects of the organization through significant growth. Throughout her career Amy has gained knowledge and skills to bring strategic and focused insights into operations, stakeholder engagement, member and board relations, strategic communications, organizational development, content creation, event planning, meeting facilitation, strategic planning and project management.
Amy is a graduate of the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute and has worked in economic development at the community level and for one of the largest statewide professional associations for economic developers.
In 2022 she earned a Certificate in Non-profit Management from the University of San Diego. Amy has also worked in the private sector in community relations, banking and the legal field.
